Hey Kevin,

I noticed you merging a MacDonald into a Macdonald. I am not the best with Macs and such but isn't the correct LNAB MacDonald? Don't mean to overstep, just looks very odd to me. Thanks Mags

Hi Kevin,

Saw you have a bunch of Dent's in your tree. There are a lot (not all) on here back to the 1600s in Maryland. It's a good idea when you start to dig deeper into your tree, it's a good idea to do a search before you add a new profile because the person may already have a profile.

Also, a famous Dent that I was able to link to our Maryland Dent's is Julia Dent Grant (Pres. Grant's wife)

If you need any help or have any questions, please let me know.

Nae PS: To follow all changes you can add names to your watchlist by going to your NAV Home Page, and just below your "watchlist" feed there is a link for "Edit followed Surnames"...you can add up to 20 names/tags there.  :)

And we're very happy to have you join us, Kevin. It's great you're willing to take over as the family recorder and slueth. :) Climbing the family tree can be both challenging and fascinating.

Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, search features, and many other useful links can be accessed from the menus on the upper right corner of most pages.

VERY IMPORTANT: The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after. More tips are on my profile page if you'd care to take a look.

Thank you for helping in our mission to build a global tree with only one profile per person.

Hope you enjoy WikiTree!

Kevin here, hello everyone! I've just agreed to take over maintenance of our family tree from relatives who did it all "on paper," so I'm very happy to join the Wikitree family.
