Biography
Naomi Hughie was enumerated as daughter of the head of household at 703 Vernon Street, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia for the April 7, United States Census, 1930. She was noted as born 1922 in Georgia and single as seen in an image of the original census. Also included in the household are head James T Hughie, wife Rosa L Hughie, daughter Jewell Hughie, son Paul Hughie and daughter Ada Hughie.[1]
On April 1, 1935, Naomi Hughie lived in Fulton County, Georgia.[2]
Naomi Hughie was enumerated as sister of the head of household at 545 Oakland, Ward 1, Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia for the April 9, United States Census, 1940. She was noted as born 1922 in Georgia and single as seen in this image of the original census. Also included in the household are head Jewel Hughie, brother James S Hughie, brother Paul Hughie, sister-in-law Daisy Hughie and nephew Edgar Hughie.[2]
On Feb. 19, 1976, she was living in Marietta, Georgia according to her brother Bernice's obituary.
Naomi Odell Hughie Thomas is buried at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia.[3]
