Biography
Robert was born in 1811. He was the son of Andrew Hume and Agnes Stirling. He passed away in 1858. [1]
Robert and his wife Sarah (who were married in England in 1835 migrated to Australia, from Newcastle, arriving in Sydney, Pitt Town 31/1/1839. Robert, whose occupation was noted as "stonemason" was 25 years of age, and Sarah was 22. They travelled with Roberts brothers, Andrew, Thomas and George and his mother Ann Hume.
Sarah died in 1850. He remarried in 9/5/1850 to Ann Macarter .He died in 1858 Sydney.
