Robert, son of Walter Hynd & Janet Johnston, was born on 16 September 1881 in Dunfermline Burgh, Fife, Scotland.[1]
In the 1910 census Walter (age 51), Bank Foreman, was the married head of household in Precinct 5, Walker, Alabama, United States.[2]
In the 1940 census Walter (age 81) was the widowed father-in-law of Doca L McLaughlin in Carbon Hill, Walker, Alabama.[3]
Walter died on 4 March 1941 and was buried on 6 March 1941 in Carbon Hill, Alabama.[4]
