Biography

Soldier Samuel Jaques Jr. served with Middlesex County Militia, New Jersey Militia during the American Revolution.

Samuel Jaques Jr. is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A061798.

Samuel was born in 1739. He married twice: first; to Annebel Brown, the daughter of James Brown and Agnes Clarkson Presgrove Hay and secondly; to Abigail Dunham who survived him.

He was also survived by 5 sons and one daughter: William Jaques, Samuel Jaques, John Ogilvie Jaques, James Jaques, Richard Jaques and Annabel Jaques.

He passed away in 1803. He is buried at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery in Woodbridge.
