Lloyd William (Bob) Jorgensen was born on November 18, 1908, in Omaha, Nebraska to parents William Jorgensen and Hazel Dell Nichols. He grew up as an only child. Bob married Mona Icel Boggs on August 31, 1927. The couple had four children. Throughout his life, Bob worked as the Chief of the fire department at the Kearney Air Force Base, amongst several other occupations. He is remembered as a kind man and a jokester. He passed away on November, 30, 1989, in Nebraska.
