Rachel was baptised at St Mary's, North Leigh on 14th March 1819.[1] She was the daughter of Richard Keene and Elizabeth Blount. Her father stated on the register that he was a mason.
Marriage
George Yeatman and Rachel Keene were married after banns at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 24th June 1843.[2] They were bachelor and spinster, both of the parish and of full age. George was a mason and the son of James, also a mason. Rachel was a servant and the daughter of Richard Keene, who was a farmer. Both George and Rachel signed their own names on the register and the witnesses to the marriage were Mark Yeatman and Ann Brice.[3]
