TUSCALOOSA | Hugh Michael Keene, age 68, of Tuscaloosa, died Oct. 17, 2014, in Panama City Beach, FL. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, 2014, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Rev. Frank Kennedy, Sr. officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 12 noon to 1:45 p.m. He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Augustus Keene; mother, Myrtle Boyd Keene; and son, Tony L. Meggs. Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Mary Ann Keene; sons, Robert Tim Meggs, Thomas Keene, and James Teddy Meggs; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Pallbearers will be sons and grandsons. Honorary pallbearers are friends of Holt Community, Walmart Stores Numbers 715-2306 in Alabama and 818 and 3119 in Panama City Beach, Fla. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Emerald Coast Hospice in Panama City, FL, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . Published in Tuscaloosa News on Oct. 20, 2014
