Biography
When Samuel Houston Kelton was born on July 25, 1833, in Greene, Tennessee, his father, Stephen, was 27 and his mother, Catharine, was 26. He married Rebecca Harrison Evans on December 25, 1853, in his hometown. He died on April 7, 1910, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, having lived a long life of 76 years, and was buried in Rogers, Arkansas.
