Edward was baptized in 1699. He was the son of Thomas Kelton and Jane Blake.[1] He passed away in 1755.[2]
"Edward3 Kelton (Thomas,2 Thomas1) was born in Milton, Mass. He was baptized April 9, 1699. In 1725 he married Mary _____. She died Nov. 2, 1762. He died Feb. 3, 1755. Children, born in Dorchester, Mass.:
"i. Edward, b. Dec. 1, 1725. m. Sarah George, June 7, 1750, in Roxbury, Mass.
"ii. Jane, b. April 2, 1728. m. _____ Withington.
"iii. Ebenezer, b. Oct. 28, 1730.
"iv. Elihu, b. June 9, 1733, m. Thankful Davenport, Oct. 23, 1755, and resided in Dorchester, Mass. He d. in 1792-3. - (N.E. Gen. Reg., Vol. xxxiii, p. 32.)
"v. James, b. July 18, 1736. He went from Dorchester and served in the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. He was in Capt. Billing's company, April 19, 1775.
"vi. Hannah, b. Sept. 18, 1738. m. Samuel Holden.
"vii. Samuel, b. Nov. 26, 1741. m. Molly Leeds. He d. in March, 1821. He went from Dorchester and served in the Continental Army in the Revolutionary War. Some of his children removed to Gardner, Mass."[2]
