Biography

Cornelius was born in 1849 in England. He was the son of Cornelius Kennedy and Mary Lindsay. ^[1][2]

He came with his mother and four brothers to Iowa in 1853. ^[3]

In 1878 he graduated with a Bachelor of Laws degree from the State University of Iowa at Iowa City. In 1880 he established a law practice in Canton, South Dakota with his brothers.

He married Blanche Waldo .

They lived in Canton where he practiced law. ^[4][5]

Cornelius died in 1917. ^[6]
