Society News

Mrs. G. W. Hockenbery of 625 W. Main st. is informally announcing the marriage of her son, Jack S. Goings, to Miss Catherine Kennedy, daughter of the late John W. Kennedy of New York City, which took place Monday, July 30, in Covington, Ky. Rev. Baumgardner of the Covenant Presbyterian church performed the single ring ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. John P. Hession of this city and J. W. Seymour of Covington, Ky., were the only attendants. The bride was attractive in a smart blue crepe de chine frock with accessories to match. Mrs. Hession wore a white and orchid ensemble.

The young couple left Wednesday morning for a trip to New York and parts of Canada. Mr. Goings plays the saxophone with O'Brien's orchestra which start on a tour in Ceptember[sic].
