Abel was the son of Robert Kimberly and Hannah Coan, born 21 Dec 1788 at Guilford.^[1][2] He passed away 8 Jun 1855 at Guilford.^[3][4]

He married as his first wife, Polly Meigs, on 28 Dec 1806 at Guilford.^[3] Polly was the daughter of Nathan Meigs and Mabel (Parmelee) Meigs.^[3] She was born in 1789 and died 30 Aug 1828 at Guilford.^[3] Children:^[3]
