Ferdinand Kitt was born on December 24, 1871 in Billigheim, Bergzabern, Rhineland-Palatinate, Deutschland, son of Georg Kitt (1837–1904) and Maria Anna Bickel (1848–1900).

Ferdinand married Magarethe Hertel (born on February 7, 1875 in Klingenmünster, Bergzabern, Germany; daughter of Franz Hertel and Anna Maria (Kendel) Hertel). Their children were:

• Katharina Kitt (1900–1979)
• Ferdinand Kitt (~1901– )
• Emil Kitt (~1905– )

He was a farmer and they lived in Berggasse 80.^[1] Ferdinand served in World War I. ^[2]

Ferdinand died after 1932, aged about 60.
