Betty Jo Kittrell was born on October 6, 1928 in Mounds, Creek, Oklahoma, United States, daughter of James Gaylon Kittrell (1909–1990) and Jessie Geraldine Lowry (1913–1983).[1]

Betty (17) married Jack Callaway Skinner (21) (born on May 3, 1924 in Bailey, Grady; son of John Lee Skinner and Hattie Pearl (Harris) Skinner) on December 8, 1945 in Duncan, Stephens, Oklahoma.

In 1950, Betty (21) was living in household of Jack Skinner (25) in Rush Springs, Grady with her husband, Jack (25); and Betty Jo Skinner (21), Larry M Skinner (2), Robert C Skinner (1), Roy Tedder (39), Ethel Tedder (36), Mary B Brown (14), and Larry W Tedder (3). [2]
