Eunice was born in 1898. Eunice LaMastus ... She passed away in 1942.[1]
Eunice Mae Lamastus, born January 14, 1898 was the oldest daughter of William Thomas and Laura Bell Jones Lamastus.
One of seven children, Una, as she was called, was sister to Sallie Pearl Lamastus (1899-1926), Vernie Frances Lamastus (1902-1984), William Ora Lamastus (1906-1954), Roscoe Harold Lamastus (1909-1988), Eloise May Lamastus (1913-1913), Milas P. Lamastus (1914-1914).
On the 24th of August, 1916, Eunice Mae Lamastus, age 18, was married to Charles Allen Jones, age 22, the son of John Oliver and Cornelia Evaline Jones of Greencastle (Warren County) Kentucky. Rev. Milligan of Richardsville, Kentucky was the minister.
Eunice and Charles were the parents of five children: Roe Garland Jones (1917-1970), Jessie Mae Jones (1924-1968), Charles Harold Jones (1926-2008), Pauline Frances Jones (1931-1980), and Anna Ruth Jones (1933-1933).
In addition to being a loving wife and mother of five children, Eunice took her ailing father W.T. Lamastus into her home and cared for him until his death in 1938. Eunice would die four years later on December 31, 1942. She was 44. She is buried in Green River Union Church Cemetery, plot 851, alongside her husband Charles Allen Jones (1893-1973). http://mancojones.multiply.com
