Cyril was born in 1893. He is the son of George Lansell and Harriet Bassford.[1]
In 1915 he married Lila Charlton Anthony in Victoria[2]
He passed away in 1932[3]and is buried in the Bendigo Cemetery[4][5]

LANSELL) Death of Member of Leading Bendigo Family - BENDIGO, Thursday. — The death occurred at Corowa (N.S.W) yesterday of Mr Cyril Vane Lansell, 39, the youngest son of the late Mr George Lansell. who was prominently associated with quartz mining at Bendigo, and Mrs Edith Lansell, of Fortuna, Bendigo. He will be buried in Bendigo tomorrow. Mr Lansell was a brother of Colonel Lansell, M.L.C. At the outbreak of the war he was on his honeymoon in England. He enlisted with the British army and served throughout the war. On his return he lived at St. Kilda. Later he settled at Corowa, where he had an extensive land holding.[6]
His property in Corowa was called "Kunanadgee".
