Mary Leete was born on 11 Jan 1671 in Guilford, CT to William Leete and Mary Fenn.[1][2] On 1 Aug 1691 in Guilford, New Haven, Connecticut she married Judge James Hooker (1666-1740) Vol. 2, Page 458-9, Vol.3, Page 75.

A deed records the relationship of the daughters of James Hooker and Mary Leete (and their respective husbands). On 27 Sep 1743 Widow Mary Hart of Guilford with her two sisters
Hannah (wife of Thomas Smith Jr of the Highlands of province of Orange, NY) and Mehetable (wife of John Smith of Rye in Westchester County) conveyed land their their sister Sarah (wife of Capt John Bartlet) including all interests in lands of the estate of their father the late James Hooker Esq deceased.[7] From this we can deduce the following
