Biography

Etta Juanita Lenhardt was born on 1 January 1900 in Parkersville, Marion, Oregon, United States, daughter of August Ferdinand Lenhardt (1863–1923) and Emily Frances Schultze (1882–1973).^[1]

She married Ramey Avin on 31 May 1924 in Canby, Clackamas, Oregon.^[2] Their children are still living.

After attending Mount Angel College and Monmouth Teacher's College, she was a grade school teacher for many years.^[3]

Etta died on 13 May 1991 in Portland, Multnomah, Oregon, aged 91. She was buried in Belle Passi Cemetery, Woodburn.^[3][4][5]
