Biography

George Leverton was born in Lincolnshire, England.

George, son of George Leverton & Mary Leverton, was baptised on 3 November 1805 in Fiskerton, Lincolnshire.^[1]

George married Elizabeth Brown on 12 April 1836 in Reepham, Lincolnshire, a parish two miles north of Fiskerton; their witnesses were John and Eleanor Brown.^[2]

Their children were baptised in Reepham and then Saxilby where George was a Ground-keeper;^[3] they included:
