Johanna (Levy) Bloch has Jewish Roots.

Johanna was born in summer 1879 in Luxemburg, the daughter of Kaufmann (merchant) Isaac Moses Levy and his wife Regina née Hirschberger (in 1905, both parents were still living in Luxemburg).

In spring 1905, she (25y) married Kaufmann (merchant) Ernst "Achilles" Bloch (35y) of Mackenheim (Elsaß) in her hometown Luxemburg. Their witnesses were: 1. Alex Hirschberger, Luxemburg, 54y (*1850/51), the bride's uncle; 2. Saul Hirschberger, Luxemburg, 40y (*1864/65), the bride's uncle; 3. Joseph Fischer, Brüssel (Brussels), 45y (*1859/60), the groom's cousin; 4. Fernand Bloch, Brüssel (Brussels), 41y (*1863/64), the groom's brother.
