Biography

Alice “Elsey” Longsteet was born January 17, 1742 in Manasquan, Monmouth, New Jersey. On October 29, 1759 at Shrewsbury, she married Peter Garrett Wikoff (1734-1821), son of Garret Wyckoff and Altia Gerritsen of Freehold, New Jersey. They had eleven known children. ^[1] Alice passed away June 16, 1820 in Allentown, Monmouth, New Jersey and was buried at Allentown Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Allentown, Monmouth County, New Jersey.
