Biography

Maria was born 6 May and baptised 12 May 1722 at Rhuddlan. She was the daughter of Sir Thomas Longueville, Bart. and Maria Conway.^[1]

She married 1st, abt 1739, Thomas (sometimes called John) Jones, Gent., d. 29 Sept. 1749. They had isuue:

• Thomas b.1740, named in the will of his grandfather Thomas Longueville.^[2]
• Martha b 1742^[3]
• Henry b 1743^[4]
• Charles b 1745, d. 1753
• Edward b 1747,^[5] d 1798

She married 2nd, in 1754, widower, Joseph Taylor Gent. of Moat Bank, Market Drayton. His occupation was a sadler.^[6][7] They had isuue:

• Thomas b 1755,^[8] d 1780
• Philip b 1756
• Maria b 1758^[9]
• Margaretta b 1760^[10]
• Joseph b 1762,^[11] d 1794
• John b 1765,^[12] d 1801

Maria died in 1795. Her tomb is in the churchyard at Lambeth.^[13]
