Iver Haftorsen Løberg was born in 1661 in Øvre Løberg, Horg, Støren, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway. His parents were Haftor Iversen Løberg and Siri Løberg. He married Randi Løberg and together they had at least eight children listed below. He died in 1733 in Skaret Øvre Løberg, Horg, Støren, Sør-Trøndelag, Norway

18th century. Like many others, he and his wife Randi were exposed to
Armfelt soldiers' ravages in 1718. A total of 176 were taken
Riksdaler and 88 shillings. Of this, 31 riksdaler were in cash.
In 1723, Iver and Randi had four horses, nine cows, six young cattle and ten sheep
used. 50 loads of hay were harvested and nine and a half barrels of grain were sown. The earth became regarded as heavily damaged and prone to river erosion. Enga was good and at home
marka was moderate. The farm had seats and a mill.
The son Haftor took over from his parents around 1735.
