William was born William MacNabb in 1909 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. His mother passed away 13 days later, so William's uncle James Hodgins and his wife Cora Bella Vickery adopted him and he moved to Flint Michigan. His father remarried.
William met Margaret Lone and the two were married in Flint, Michigan on August 2, 1933.[1] The couple had three daughters. He passed away in 1979, leaving his wife, three daughters, and four granddaughters.
