Biography
Francesco was born around 1802 to Francesco Maggio and Margherita Becchina [1]. In 1848 at age 28 he married 34-year-old Ignazia Bongiorno [2]; they had several children. He was widowed in 1855 and in 1857 at age 37, he married 23-year-old Anna Barbera [3]. Francesco died before 26 November 1900 [4].
Francesco was named after his paternal grandfather, Francesco Maggio.
