Biography

Vincenzo was born in 1842 to Maestro Marco Maggio, a blacksmith, and Margarita Fasullo ^[1]. He married Caterina Morreale in 1865 when he was 23 and she 24 ^[2]. Vincenzo was widowed and in 1872 he married 23-year-old Vita Prima ^[3]. Per his marriage records, Vincenzo was a blacksmith, like his father. He was named for his paternal grandfather, Vincenzo Maggio.
