Biography

John Dowsey Magog was born on 18 Mar 1849 in Sunderland, Durham, England, son of Francis Magog (1814 - 1891) and Elizabeth (Peverley) Magog (1818 - 1866).[1]

His siblings were:

John died in 1919 in Sunderland aged ~70.[3]

Dowsey Magog-2 and Magog-14 are not ready to be merged because: Firstly I notice the family name is incorrectly shown as Dowsey Magog when in fact Dowsey is not a family name, but a second given name for John Magog and his siblings.

Unless corrected, anyone searching for the Magog family are unlikely to find them under a family name listed incorrectly as 'Dowsey Magog'.
