Maillard-109 and Mallard-120 appear to represent the same person because: I believe we have a common ancestor in Peter Mallard. (Pierre Maillard born in France. I do not have any original sourcing, most of the information I've found online has come by FamilySearch.org and Geneanet.org- if the information is correct I have been able to find Peter Mallard's father-Jean Maillard Birth 03 apr 1663 • Rennes, Ille-et-Vilaine, Bretagne, France and a few generations further back. In the family tree I started in Ancestry.com John Mallard is my 7th great grandfather, I believe he his your relative George's brother both son's of Peter Mallard. Both the the birth and death years for John show as about in familysearch.org so probably not correct on my side but the location of Craven, North Carolina is the same and from what familysearch.org has - Peter had 7 sons, John b. 1710, Joseph b. 1711, George b. 1723, Asa b. 1730, Daniel b. 1731, Peter Jr. b. 1733 and my relative John b. 1740- the date may be incorrect-this may be the John you have listed as George's twin.
