Biography
Mary Mildred Maley was born on 03 July 1901 in Bartholomew County, Indiana. She was the daughter of George Maley and Lizzie (Wagner) Maley. The 1920 census[1] lists Mary as living with her family in Flat Rock Township, Bartholomew, Indiana where her father is farming.

The 1930 census[2] says she still lives with her parents and now she has a job as a stenographer. On 31 Jan 1931 Mary married[3] Charles Deloss Cummins in Bartholomew, Indiana. Mary gave birth to their two sons, Robert and Donald. The 1940 census[4] shows Mary raising her family in Columbus, Indiana where Charles is working for his brother's engine company.
