"Henry Woodhouse of Winterton Co., Norfolk, Gent., left will dated 26 Aug. 1636-codicil 17 Feb. 1636/7-11 June 1637, [ citing P.C.C. 97 Goare, in V XXVI, pp. 39-40. The abstract in Noel Currer-Briggs, "Virginia Settlers & English Adventures" (Baltimore, 1970) p. 331, gives date as 26 Aug. 1635 and codicil as 17 Feb. 1635/6] naming his wife Judith, daughters, Elizabeth, Doll and Alice and son Harry's daughters Betsey and Juday. [Citing Lower Norfolk County Deed Book 4, p. 89, recorded 1680].
He married Judity (Mandby?) Haen, whose son Joost (Jose] was named in his will as son-in-law." She was buried 13 May 1666 in the Church of St. Columba, Colingtree, Northamptonshire, [citing John Bridges, The History and Antiquities of Northamptonship, 1 (Oxford, 1791), p. 352] and left will 24 Dec. 1656-1668, proved on the 3rd of June[1] which mentioned her son Horatio, her grandaughter Judity Lowe, her grandson Henry Woodhouse and "his three sisters."
