Fred was born about 1885. He was the son of Carl Manthe and Anna Nagel. He passed away in 1972.

Obituary

ARLINGTON - Fred E. Manthe, 87, died suddenly Tuesday (Aug. 29, 1972) at home of an apparent heart attack. He was a lifelong Arlington ara resident. He married the former Mary Stiemke in 1915. He was a retired Del Monte Corp. employe. He. was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Rodney Pulsfus, Aldington; a brother, Gust, DeForest; and two grandchildren. The funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday in the church where friends may call after noon Friday. The Hamre Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.^[1][2]
