Biography
James Manzie was born about 1847, the son of David Manzie and Mary Attwell.
He married Jane Pontin in 1867 in Victoria, Australia.[1] Their children were:
- Albert Victor James Manzie (1868–?)[2]
- Charles Henry Manzie (1870–?)[2]
- Alice Jane Manzie (1873–1874)[3]
- Ada Edith Manzie (1874–?)[2]
- David George Manzie (1876–1966)[2]
- Ethel Rose Manzie (1878–1879)[4]
- Leslie Atwell Manzie (1879–1957)[2]
- Arthur Horace Manzie (1883–1982)[2]
- Florence Mabel Manzie (1885–?)[2][5]
- Percy Pontin Manzie (1889–?)[2]
James died on 19 May 1943 at a private hospital in East St Kilda, Victoria.[2][6]
