(Giuseppe) Nicolò Marino was born at Sciacca, Provincia di Girgenti, Kingdom of Sicily, "hac nocte," 11 Xbre (December) 1686, son of Francesco Marino and Antonia [Scoma], and was baptized in San Vito parish, 11 Xbre (December) 1686; his sponsors were Geronimo and Accursia Indelicato.[2]
