Morse was born about 1845. He was the son of Edward and Elizabeth Marion, both born about 1820.
Morse (age 26y), son of Edward & Elizabeth, married Ruth E. Marsh (age 30y) on 11 May 1871 in Brooke, West Virginia.[1]
In the 1880 census Morse (age 35), Blacksmith, was the married head of household in Raccoon Township, Beaver, Pennsylvania, United States.[2]
