Biography
Elizabeth was born 7 December 1807 the daughter of Peter Marquit and Mercy "Mary" Utter.
She married William Olmsted on 3 December 1827 and they had eight children.
Elizabeth died 20 June 1845.
After she died William married Rosella Barker and had seven more children.
Research Note
In the Olmsted Family Cemetery in Sunside, Greene County, New York, where William is buried, there is a "Betsey Olmsted" (1820-22 Jun 1945) with a Memorial. [1] that has a photo with the transcribed inscription "Wife of William Olmsted, aged 25y."
There are no other Williams in this large Olmsted family in the area other than than the husband of Elizabeth. The date for birth year is off by 13 years though the death date is off only by 2 days from family records.
