Biography
Margaret was born in Ireland around 1811 on December 10. She married William Porter and emigrated to Canada West between 1828 and 1831. They had many children:

Research Notes
Charles Porter seems to be William and Margaret's son. The enumerator seemed to mark the households, and Charles and Ann and William and Jane were not apart of Wiliam Porter's household (the four of them were living together) but they are included for family relations/research purposes.
The census gives the age next birthday then the birth date. eg. William would be 44, his birth date is June 16; Joshua would be 4 next birthday, his birth date is September 1.
