Sarah E. Matherly married Geo. W. Jacobs on 21 Dec 1881 in Pendleton, Kentucky, United States .[1]
She passed away in 1953 at the age of 88.

“MRS. ELIZABETH JACOBS
“Mrs. A. L. Regan of Buckeye Lake received word of the death Tuesday in Los Angeles, California., of her mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Jacobs, 88, a former resident of Kirkersvilleband Buckeye Lake.
“Mrs. Jacobs, who lived in the home of Mrs. Regan eight years had been in Los Angeles four years and died in the home of another daughter, Mrs. Violet Glenn.
‘She was born in Richmond, Ky., July 29 1865, and was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Covington, Ky, and also in Los Angeles.
‘Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Swiglees [sic], Mrs. Mary McClure and Mrs. Eneva Wheat, and a son, S. C. Jacobs, all of Los Angeles.
‘The funeral will take place Monday in Los Angeles and burial will be made in Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Mr. and Mrs. James Chapman and Mrs. Regan left for Los Angeles.”[2]
