Pietro was probably born in the mid-1700s, before 1764, to Michele Mauro and Antonina Sciara. He married Caterina Giambalvo -- children are unknown -- and after her death, he married in 1781 Angela Rabito. He and Angela had several children. He was alive in 1807 and died before May 1826 .
