Catherine McCaul married Patrick Carroll on 25 May 1809 at Lambtown, Ardee, County Louth, Ireland by Fred Father Carney.[1]
On 5 July 1869 Catherine Carroll alias McCall, a resident of Lambtown, Ardee P.O., County Louth, aged 80 years, the widow of Patrick Carroll and mother of Michael Carroll who was a Private in Company K, 33rd Regiment, New York and who died or was killed at Fredericksburg, VA on or about 3 May 1863.
