Zeke was born on 8 Nov 1876 in Putnam County, West Virginia, USA. ^{[1][2][3][4][5][6]}

He is as the son of Hamilton McClaskey and Mary Margaret Perry. (born 1858 in Arkansas, United States) ^[1][6][3]

In 1880 he lived with his parents in Putnam County, West Virginia, United States. ^[6]

He married Lula Belle Tubbs on 8 May 1907 (by 1910 Lula was married to John Martin) in Montgomery County, Kentucky.

He married Georgia Bryant on 21 May 1927 in Montgomery County, Kentucky. ^[4]

He passed away on 31 May 1947 in Mount Sterling, Montgomery County, Kentucky, USA ^{[2][3][4] [5]}

He was laid to rest in the Lovely-Amburgey Cemetery in Jeffersonville, Montgomery County, Kentucky, USA ^[5]

"Man and woman Die In Fire At Apartment. 12 Other Tenants Safe At Mount Sterling. Mount Sterling, Ky., May 31 (AP) -Fire which broke out on a cen trail stairway of a four-apart ment building today brought death to two of the structure's 14 occupants as the others es caped safely, Fire Chief Joe Ref fett said. He identified the dead as Zeke McClaskey, 68, a farmer, and his wife, Mrs. Georgia Kemper Mc Claskey, 65. Death was attributed to suffocation. Their bodies were found on the kitchen floor of their second-story apartment. Reffett said the flames caused several thousand dollars dam age to the building owned by J. O. Keith. Clay Carey, who occupied a second-floor apartment with his wife and four children, dropped from a window and raised a lad der to permit his family to flee the building, the fire chief said. Mrs. Charles Shepherd and her four children, who occupied one of the first floor flats, and George Conner, who lived in the other, fled before flames reached them."^[4]

Note

Ezekiel and his second wife, Georgia, died when their apartment building burned. His Obituary stated that he had one son, William, of Middletown OH. Georgia's listed her children and they didn't include William. It was therefore assumed that Lula Belle Tubbs was William's Mother. (Pat McClaskey, Huntington, WV)

William was raised by John and Lula Martin. He is with them in the 1910 and 1920 census listed as William Martin. ^[7][8]
