Mealey, whose death occurred at "Greentree," Collie, on Monday morning last, took place on Tuesday, and was one of the largest and most representative seen at that centre. The remains were laid to rest in "Dick's Camp" cemetery, the Church of England minister, the Rev. Armstrong, reading the last sad rites at the graveside. The deceased, who was 63 years of age was well known and respected, having lived his life time in the Collie district. Death supervened after a long illness which in the first place was the result of a stroke. He is survived by a widow and four sons and two daughters, these being: Messrs Jim, Clarries, Arthur, and Jack, and Mrs P. Moore and Dorothy, all of whom reside at Collie. Mr. A. H. Ross, of Gilgandra, carried out the funeral arrangements.
