Daniel was born in 1876. He was the son of Daniel Minnick and Clara Miller.

Daniel married Josephine R Illi on 21 February 1922 in Faribault, Minnesota, United States.^[2]

In the 1930 census Dan (age 55), Laborer, was the married head of household in Chemung, McHenry, Illinois, United States.^[3]

In the 1940 census Daniel (age 63) was the married head of household in Rockford, Winnebago, Illinois.^[4]

Daniel was in the military and died on 23 September 1941 in Rockford, Ill.^[5]

Daniel died on 23 September 1941 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, United States.^[6]
