Biography
Esther (Mireault) Miraud is a descendant of an Acadian
Birth/Baptism
Marie Esther Miraud, daughter of Louis Miraud and Marie Richard, was born before 13 September 1767 at "CANATICOTE EN NOUVELLE-ANGLETERRE", She was baptised on 13 September 1767 at L'Assomption parish when she was age 4 months. [1]
In PRDH Marie-Esther is recorded as an "Immigrant". The family was deported from Acadia to Boston, then to Connecticut where the first three siblings were born[2], then settled in Quebec.
Marriage
Esther Mirau and Joseph Riopel were married at L'Assomption on 29 January 1788. [3]
Death/Burial
Esther Amireau, age 77, widow of Joseph Riopelle, died on 22 December 1841 and was buried on the 24th December 1841 at L'Assomption. [4]
