Wilhelm Gustav Mischke was born on the 12th October 1882, in Queensland, Australia, the son of August Heinrich Mischke and Bertha Hanna Caroline Stelter.^[1]

Wilhelm Gustav married firstly Anna Maria Hahn on the 25th January 1909, in Queensland.^[2]

Over the next three years Wilhelm and Anna had three children, two daughters and a son:

1. Mary (27/03/1909—28/06/1930)
2. Ottillie Louise (13/09/1910— ?(Tetzlaff))
3. Gustave Wilhelm (10/10/1912—25/05/1982)
