Mary was Choctaw.

Mary Jean Muncrief was born 15 May 1874 at Purcell, Pontotoc, Chickasaw Nation, Indian Territory, the daughter of Samuel Muncrief and Margarett Hall. Mary passed away 17 April 1942 at Randsburg, Kern, California.^[2] She is buried at the Rand District Cemetery, Johannesburg, Kern County, California.^[3]

The sources listed from the “Oklahoma Applications for Allotment, Five Civilized Tribes, 1899-1907” show the Oklahoma and Indian Territory, Land Allotment Jackets for Five Civilized Tribes, application for allotment affidavit, Choctaw Citizenship Certificate. ^[4][5][6]
