Merle was a son of Harley Mosely and Ethel Smith. He married Margaret Leona Philipp. Merle passed away in 1973.

Merle Mosely

OMRO - Information has been received of the death on Jan. 12 at El Sobrante, Calif., of Merle Mosely, 70, formerly of the Town of Omro, where he was born Aug. 28, 1902.

He was the son of Harley and Ethel Mosely and graduated from Omro High School in 1920.

He married Miss Margaret Philipp of Oshkosh. They moved to California where he worked for the Pacific Gas and Electric Co. and retired in 1967.

Survivors are his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Joan Sweeney of El Sobrante and Mrs. Jan DeLong of Hayward, Calif.; two sons, James of San Francisco and Michael Mosely of Tiburon, Calif.; two brothers, Kenneth Mosely of Covina, Calif. and Russell Mosely, Madison, and six grandchildren.^[1]
