Elizabeth was born in 1774. She passed away in 1842.
Betsey Moseley, recorded as a resident of Hampton, married Daniel Martin, also a resident of Hampton, on 10 January 1793. The marriage was officiated by Eben'r (i.e. Ebenezer) Moseley, Justice of the Peace, and is recorded in Randolph, Vermont. [1] Although the marriage is recorded in Vermont, it almost certainly took place in Hampton, Connecticut, with Ebenezer Moseley (1741-1825) as the officiant. There is no place named Hampton in Vermont, the family of Daniel Martin lived in or near the section of Windham, Connecticut, that became part of Hampton, the Moseley family name was abundant in Windham and later in Hampton, and Ebenezer Moseley (1741-1825) was a prominent resident of Hampton and a church deacon who is likely to have been a justice of the peace.
