Biography
Charles P Mudd is said to have raised his big family on 40 ac of land in Millwood Twp in a two room log house with an upstairs attic. He was wont to have a dance at this cabin every Sat or so with Leander Henry who was courting one of the girls doing the strumming on the fiddle.
The estate of Charles P Mudd was turned over to his widow Jane Maria Mudd. (Rec Q pg 66 Lincoln Co MO)
