Biography

Reuben Jackson Musick was born in 1867 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. He was the son of Frederick William Musick and Lucinda Jane Kight.

He married Della Campbell on 8 September 1891 in Tallapoosa County. They had six children: Lucy V., Robert Campbell, Reuben Jackson Jr., Delma, Porter Lee, and Pelham Price Musick.

Jack passed away on 15 December 1943 in Wetumpka, Elmore County, Alabama at the home of his son, Porter. His cause of death was listed as apoplexy. He is buried at Harmony Cemetery in New Site, Tallapoosa County, Alabama.

R. J. MUSICK

R. J. Musick, 76, passed away Wednesday, December 15, at the residence of his son, P. L. Musick, in Wetumpka. Funeral services were held Friday from the Harmony Church, and burial was in the adjoining cemetery, with the Rev. Mr. Railey officiating. He is survived by three sons, R. C., Alexander City, P. L., Wetumpka, and P. P. Musick, Atlanta; two daughters, Miss Lucy Musick, Phenix City, and Mrs. Delma Thompson, Alexander City, Route 4; one brother and four sisters. Cantrell Funeral Home.
